John Corvino, Public Lecture, "The Meaning of (Gay) Marriage"

Join us for the first guest lecture of the academic year.
John Corvino, Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Wayne State University, will deliver a lecture entitled “The Meaning of (Gay) Marriage.”  As prominent author and speaker on sexuality and ethics, Corvino invites the audience to consider a new view of same-sex marriage by challenging popular notions about marriage itself.
This lecture is sponsored by the Bernard Mayes LGBTQ Lecture Fund at UVA’s Women, Gender & Sexuality Program and by the UVA Department of Philosophy.
